Sean found that even though he had mastered part of the authority of the Room of Requirements, he still lacked an understanding of Hogwarts’ contents. Of course, this may have been put in by Dumbledore himself.

For example, a huge prayer wheel in front of them.

“We need to get to Bhutan, and this will help us go there.” Newt said.

“This thing? Could it be a portkey?” Sean looked at the prayer wheel, and he could faintly feel a wave of magic power on it.

Newt shook his head, “I don’t know the specifics. Dumbledore has a way of finding all kinds of weird things. This thing seems to come from Bhutan, and Bhutan is the origin of some of our very important magic. Rumor has it that you can hear the past whispering to you if you listen carefully.”

“So, we go using this? Do we need to prepare anything?” Sean asked.

Newt showed an embarrassed expression, “Actually, I think we need more preparations. After all, we may face many wizards attacking us when we arrive in Bhutan. But since Dumbledore didn’t say anything…”

Sean sighed. Newt approached the prayer wheel and put his right hand on it.

The engraved ancient mysterious patterns seemed to come alive. They walked toward the prayer wheel, and then the prayer wheel began to spin rapidly.

“Jacob, Queenie, you go first. Remember to protect yourself, but the suitcase will be with me, so they should not make things difficult for you,” Newt said.

Jacob and Queenie looked at each other; they took each other’s hands and disappeared in place as if absorbed by the prayer wheel.

“Sure enough, it’s like a Portkey,” Sean muttered.

Newt turned to look at Sean, “Together?”

Sean stepped forward, glanced at Newt’s suitcase from the corner of his eye, and after hesitating for a moment, he still asked, “Professor Scamander, do you think it’s true that a magical animal can choose a reasonable leader?”

Newt shrugged his shoulders, “In fact, things that happened recently are not quite right.”

“Why did you suddenly go after the Qilin?” Sean has always been curious about the cause of this incident.

“I didn’t want to because the Qilin election has been abandoned for a long time, and I think it’s better to let these magical creatures live where they should be.” Newt sighed.

“I received news that Grindelwald’s followers called “The Saints” wanted to attack Jacob’s family, so I rushed over there. The Saints captured Jacob and threatened him, letting me change my testimony and help them find the Qilin that is about to be born.”

“At that time, I was there, and the Guards rushed over. I saved Jacob, but the Guards behaved strangely. To be honest, I felt that they didn’t come to help, they’re also like the Saints, they want me to help them find the Qilin.”

Newt laughed, “Magic zoologists are quite popular, aren’t they?”

Both groups wanted to find a Qilin. Sean frowned.

It is not surprising that the Guards want the Qilin, but why does Grindelwald want the Qilin?

Newt continued, “Afterwards, I received a secret notification from Dumbledore. I took Jacob and the others to find Qilin by accident, and two groups hunted me down until now. To be honest, if it wasn’t, those two groups have been holding each other back, and I’m afraid I won’t be able to come back safely.”

He glanced at Sean and said in a deep voice, “I know you have a lot of questions, but I’m sorry, Sean. You should know from that night in Paris that I’m only following Dumbledore’s orders.”

“Professor, he must be very grateful for your trust in him.” Sean answered.

Newt smiled, “Dumbledore has always been trustworthy.”

“Did you feel the incident was caused by time travel when you were on the road?” Thinking of this, Sean asked casually.

Newt nodded, “In fact, I felt right away that there was a problem with time. Maybe because I had a similar experience, this kind of thing will only happen after the wizard has carried out long-distance time travel.”

“Experience? Professor Scamander, have you experienced it?” Sean asked in surprise. He just asked casually, never expecting to ask an experienced person.

“Accurately speaking, everyone should have experienced it back then. But the incident at that time was not so obvious, and the Ministry of Magic seemed to be able to hide it. But I was very young at the time, but I felt it.”

“When did it happen?” Sean asked impatiently.

Although he didn’t know why Sean reacted like this, Newt said truthfully, “It seems that children are particularly sensitive to such things. I was only two years old that year, and I felt it. It was in 1899, probably towards the end of October.”

Isn’t that the year Dumbledore and Grindelwald met?

Sean never thought that he would get such news from Newt just by asking this.

Newt is still talking about what he saw at the time, “Originally, a two-year-old child should not be able to remember anything, but I can remember it very well. It was a very strange feeling. Sitting there quietly basking in the sun, the calm sky suddenly seemed to sink. I still can’t forget the heart-pounding feeling, as if the world is collapsing.”

“Obviously, I was just crawling back and forth on my mother’s Hippogriff. But I can’t forget that feeling. The time of that day also disappeared; the sky at noon quickly darkened and disappeared for about ten hours.”

Sean was shocked, and a thought immediately popped up in his mind. Did Dumbledore go back to 1899?

Sean frowned and found a problem. Time-travel incidents can only happen in real-time, and he connects to the most recent accident. If you look at it this way, in 1899, someone made a long-distance time travel and caused something.

Is there any connection between the recent time incident and the time incident nearly a hundred years ago?

Did Dumbledore time travel back to 1899?

“Sean, we should go.” Newt waited for him to think for a while and put his hand on the prayer wheel.

“Oh, right,” Sean replied.

Now, only some conjectures can be connected, just conjectures. Sean temporarily put down the thoughts in his head and put his hands on the prayer wheel.

It felt like a portkey, as if a hook had caught Sean’s body and pulled him back quickly. After a burst of dizziness and a feeling of flying, Sean stepped on the ground again.

In front of his eyes were narrow streets, low-rise buildings with ethnic characteristics, flags in green, yellow, red, and other colors, and a small town that stretched all the way up into the distance.

In the distance, a broken bridge cannot be seen clearly. As the broken bridge extends, the end is a mountaintop hidden in the clouds and mist, and there are tall buildings with vague and ancient atmospheres on them.

This is Bhutan.

The place where the Portkey had been brought in seemed to be a hidden place full of wizards.

Strangely, Newt did not appear by his side.

Sean walked into a corner where no one was paying attention and used his Transfiguration magic to change his appearance, and only then did he blend into the crowd.

In the crowd, Sean looked around calmly. The crowd was noisy and passionate. They were clearly divided into several groups, each holding a flag, on which were candidates who were waving and smiling.

Among a group of particularly fanatical wizards, Sean saw the green flag and Grindelwald’s image on it.

“Damn, old man,” Sean muttered in his heart.

He mixed into Grindelwald’s group and looked around.

“Young man,” a young-looking wizard put his arms around Sean’s shoulders enthusiastically and used a rather weird address, “I don’t think I’ve seen you before.”

“I’m here to witness Mr. Grindelwald become the president and then lead us to real freedom.” Sean opened his mouth with expectation and excitement on his face.

“Young man!” The man was quite satisfied with Sean’s performance, and he became more enthusiastic, “You are right, Mr. Grindelwald will be the greatest leader ever in this world.”

Sean shook hands with each other enthusiastically while thinking about it in his heart. Sean finally got rid of the fanatical follower and looked more carefully.

After observing, he discovered that on the top floors of the buildings on both sides of the street, there were already many wizards in long black trench coats standing on the edge.

They seemed calm but were raptly watching every wizard who walked by. What’s even stranger is that another group of people are doing the same thing while guarding against the former.

Sean immediately reacted to the Saints and the Guards.

Are they planning to kill the Qilin here? Sean frowned.

Sean mixed in the crowd and couldn’t stop looking at it. Suddenly, a figure with a suitcase flashed in the corner of his eye. After looking around, Sean turned into the alley without attracting anyone’s attention.

At the end of the walk, the figure he had just seen was lost.

Just as he was about to turn his head, he felt something in his heart. Someone appeared behind him silently, but he hadn’t noticed anything before that.

Sean kept his body and breathing from showing any abnormalities, trying to pretend to be an ordinary wizard who accidentally turned into an alley. At the same time, his wand slipped quietly from his sleeve, and a spell was ready to be cast.

Unexpectedly, a voice sounded behind him.

“Mr. Wallup, didn’t I teach you what to do in this situation?”

Sean turned his head away in surprise, with a look of joy on his face.

“Professor!”

Grindelwald was standing straight behind him. It was strange that the noisy and frantic crowd outside didn’t even take a look here.

“I knew you would come over.” Grindelwald put his hands behind his back, wearing a delicate and elegant dress. He was still as happy and calm as ever.

He tilted his head at Sean, then walked into the next room. Sean followed, and he didn’t know why, but he felt very comfortable in front of Grindelwald.

Sitting before him, Sean spread his hands, “Can you reveal some of your plans to your favorite student?”

Grindelwald touched his short beard, “It’s not a surprise if the surprise is revealed in advance. You have to know that I’m at the age where I like to perform surprises in front of people.”

“What about the Qilin?” Sean asked.

Grindelwald just raised his eyebrows lazily, “Qilin is only part of the plan.”

“But you didn’t get the

Qilin.” Sean said.

Grindelwald smiled mysteriously, “Because I need the Qilin to play its role, but I don’t need the Qilin.”

“Can you explain it the way that I would understand?” Sean rolled his eyes.

He laughed heartily, “It seems that Albus didn’t say anything to you.”

Sean looked at him, “Did you discuss it with Professor Dumbledore?”

“No, these are all my own.”

Sean froze.

Grindelwald raised his head. His eyes seemed to look into the distance through the stone wall.

“This is the first time I can’t figure out what Albus is thinking. If that’s the case, then follow my plan.”

But without waiting for him to speak, Grindelwald said to himself, “Because how can we find the truth by guessing it?”

“By the way, did Albus tell you something recently?”

Sean suppressed the annoyance in his heart and recounted all the recent exchanges between himself and Dumbledore in a muffled voice. To be honest, he didn’t communicate much with Dumbledore.

After hearing this, Grindelwald laughed, “I really can’t see what he was thinking. Albus, what exactly do you want to see when you go back to the past?”

Hearing this, Sean immediately raised his head, “Is the person who traveled long distances in time really Professor Dumbledore?”

“Who else is there but him? In this world, only two people can return to the distant past and return safely, and one is standing in front of you.” Grindelwald said casually.

Before Sean could speak, Grindelwald threw something over.

“It’s time for me to go back and play with those idiots. You can use this.”

He turned around and blinked at Sean. At that moment, Sean felt that he looked very much like Dumbledore.

“By the way, think about what Albus said to you.”

After speaking, Grindelwald merged into the stone wall behind him and disappeared without a trace.
