Still feeling a bit apprehensive after his bold introduction of the houses, Wentworth couldn’t help but sigh in relief when he saw that Professor McGonagall wasn’t angry.

He understood that the popularity of Professor McGonagall in the original work was well-deserved.

Feeling the need to make amends for his audacious remarks, Wentworth mustered up the courage to apologize to Professor McGonagall.

“Professor McGonagall, I apologize for my earlier comments. I didn’t mean to offend or undermine the significance of each house’s qualities.” Wentworth apologized.

“I understand that Gryffindor stands for bravery and courage, and I truly respect that. Please forgive my impulsive behavior,” Wentworth said sincerely.

Professor McGonagall, still composed, nodded at Wentworth’s apology.

She appreciated his honesty and willingness to take responsibility for his words.

“Apology accepted, Mr. Wentworth. It’s not unusual for young witches and wizards to be eager to express themselves.” Professor McGonagall replied.

“Just remember that each house embodies essential qualities and complements one another in creating a balanced and supportive Hogwarts community,” she replied calmly.

Encouraged by Professor McGonagall’s understanding, Wentworth took a deep breath and turned his attention back to the sorting ceremony.

“Now, as requested, let’s proceed with Gryffindor,” Professor McGonagall said, continuing the sorting process.

Now feeling more composed, Wentworth focused on introducing Gryffindor in a more respectful and thoughtful manner.

“Gryffindor, the house of bravery and daring. It’s a place where students with lion-hearted spirits are nurtured.”

“Courage is one of the defining traits of Gryffindors, and they never shy away from standing up for what they believe in.”

“The house has produced many great witches and wizards, known for their bravery in the face of danger,” Wentworth explained, ensuring his words reflected the true essence of Gryffindor.

He continued with Ravenclaw, “Ravenclaw, a house that cherishes intellect and wit. It’s a place for those with a thirst for knowledge and a love for learning.”

“Wisdom is highly valued here, and Ravenclaws are known for their sharp minds and cleverness. They strive for excellence in their academic pursuits and contribute significantly to the magical world with their ingenuity.”

Then he moved on to Hufflepuff, “Hufflepuff, a house that values loyalty, kindness, and hard work. It’s a welcoming and inclusive community where students are valued for their unique qualities. “

“Hufflepuffs are known for their dedication and diligence, and they excel in making strong bonds and friendships that last a lifetime.”

Finally, he introduced Slytherin, “Slytherin, a house that prizes ambition, resourcefulness, and determination. It’s a place where cunning and strategic thinking are highly esteemed.”

“Slytherins are determined to achieve their goals and are often leaders in their chosen paths. They have a strong sense of pride in their heritage and are known for their unwavering loyalty to their own.”

The freshmen seemed more engaged and receptive as Wentworth completed his more thoughtful introductions.

They clapped and yelled, praising him; waves of applause could be heard.

Professor McGonagall, pleased with Wentworth’s impromptu, gave him an approving nod.

“Enough!” Professor McGonagall said in a loud voice, calming the hectic freshmen.

“What a great explanation you’ve provided, Mr. Grindelwald. Although there are some flaws here and there, still credit where it’s due.” Professor McGonagall praised Wentworth.

“Everyone, line up! I believe the people in the castle have been waiting for us for quite some time.” Professor McGonagall said.

With a sense of accomplishment, Wentworth followed Professor McGonagall and the other freshmen into the castle, eager to continue his journey at Hogwarts and discover the magical experiences that awaited him.

“Dumbledore… You won’t believe this… This kid, just like his grandfather, had the charisma to gather people around him. What’s more scary is he is still 11 years old!” Professor McGonagall thought to herself.

When the freshmen followed Professor McGonagall into the Great Hall, countless curious eyes looked at them.

When Wentworth passed the Hufflepuff dining table, Cedric waved at him enthusiastically.

Wentworth returned his greetings by waving and smiling back.

“Oh, Professor McGonagall, the freshmen seem to be a little late this time!” Professor Dumbledore looked through his glasses, and his eyes seemed to be looking for something between the freshmen.

Wentworth clearly felt Professor Dumbledore’s gaze pierce through him.

Then, Professor McGonagall walked up to Dumbledore and said something softly.

Wentworth noticed Professor Ilona not far from Dumbledore’s side.

Being able to sit there proves that she has been recognized by Dumbledore and has become the new Professor of the Defense Against the Dark Arts class.
